11th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and Peace Walk: Communication for Global Citizenship of Reconciliation and Tolerance

On 25 May 2024, 162 people gathered at the NSW Art Gallery for the 11th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and Peace Walk. This year’s theme, “Communication for Global Citizenship of Reconciliation and Tolerance,” highlighted the vital role of communication in fostering a global culture of peace. The event emphasised that true peace begins with citizens, the true leaders of the global community.

HWPL and the Legislate Peace Project

Since 2013, HWPL’s Legislate Peace (LP) project has led citizen-led global campaigns to achieve sustainable peace. These initiatives address conflicts through refugee aid, disaster relief, interreligious dialogues, peace education, and human rights seminars, making significant strides toward a peaceful world.

About HWPL

Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL) is an international peace organisation dedicated to global harmony and the cessation of war. HWPL combines top-down and bottom-up strategies, recognising the importance of global leaders and lawmakers while empowering citizens to sustain peace. This approach is encapsulated in the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).
