Blood Donation

The Incredible impact “WAO” (We Are One Organisation) has made in having the Guinness World Record for the greatest amount of people signing up for donating blood is taking the world by storm!

WAO donates Blood with such an act of love from the heart even thriving and encouraging others to come along and help donate blood to help support those that are truly in need of blood with the help of Red Cross and other organisations.

WAO always encourages communities to give blood even considering for everyone’s health as well as participating in an act of kindness in giving their best effort to give some of their blood. It is really such a touching and important thing that we should always realise can help our communities be better.

They host a Blood Donation Drive once in awhile and had a total of 23 attendees on Saturday the 30th of March this year (2024). Their passion and dedication towards bringing awareness of health and helping “Australian Red Cross Lifeblood” is living a impact and mark on how everyone should take care of each other’s physical well-being. WAO embodies such a vibrant and friendly atmosphere with anyone they meet and many of their doners gave blood or even plasma across Sydney at the Lifeblood Centres on 22 Oak St in Rosehill and 483 George St, in the City.

In their most recent Drive on the 29th of June, there were 7 volunteers (amongst others that had to reschedule) who attended and visited Parramatta and Town Hall lifeblood centres who were welcomed by the staff and were apparently given free food. Many conversations and photos are taken amongst the staff and volunteers and always leaves everyone with a smile and memory to remember the heart to always keep to help save lives through selfless donations.

The greatest amount of people to sign up to volunteer as blood donors online in 24 hours consists of 71,121 participants and was achieved by Shincheonji Youth Volunteers, WE ARE ONE (South Korea) in Seoul, South Korea, on the 2nd of October 2022.
